I'm posting videos at bangumiblog.blogspot.com but this isn't really pop culture and I also thought that Nash might like these.

Grindhouse is seriously the most fun you'll ever have at the movies and it ends in a murder and possibly a rape. Yay!
After coming home I witnessed some good driving as well. A cop ran a red light. Not in the course of duty. Just because he got sick of waiting. I was behind him at a light that took 5 minutes to turn green. He drove forward at 4 min 50 seconds. I also saw the bionic bus tokyo drift around a corner. Yes! I loved my company at grindhouse as well. I wish we were friends earlier.

|Mizzy Bean is Back
...and he's a bastard.
All he does all day is sleep, eat, get fat, and bite me.
He's about middle aged for a dwarf hamster now, so he doesn't run or anything any more.
All I hear out of him is nibbling noises.
I looked at the dwarf hamsters at petland the other day and MizzBean is like 3x their size.
He's been with my parents for however long I haven't been in Iowa City and they never played with him so he hates people.
I think he might be Ingram's ideal pet now.

When did Facebook start Microtransactions? Gross.
I went up to Minneapolis this weekend for job interviews. I interviewed with 3 companies. CVS, Walmart, and PrairieStone. I got all three jobs, but I probably have to accept the PrairieStone offer right now or I'll lose it.
PrairieStone is very interesting. I'll work alone in a tiny box, but it will be the most comfortable box one could imagine. I'm used to filling 400 prescriptions a day, at PrairieStone I'll fill 50 a day. They're located inside some very spendy grocery stores (lunds/byerly where you can buy organic milk for $7/gallon). I get a machine to count and pour all the pills, and I get to play on high speed internet when I have down time. It pays the least, and if I'm really in the whole pharmacy thing to help people understand their drugs I don't think I'll really be doing that much good. People who shop there are pretty well off.
CVS only fills 50-100 scripts a day and I didn't actually ask about how much I'd get paid, but CVS has a reputation for paying the highest wages. CVS offers the most job security, best benefits, and is new to Minneapolis, so I will get a brand new store and I'd assume I'd have the best chance of getting a safe place to work. But they will increase in volume in the future. If I were to work for CVS, now would be the time, since I could make the most money with the least amount of work now, and get a better store than I could if I went to them in the future.
Walmart fills the same number of scripts. They are in poorer areas, so it would be less safe to work for them, but really who needs help making life style choices and decisions about their drugs more than someone who shops at Walmart? I also really like the District Manager at Walmart much more than any of the other places.
The Mall of America is kind of depressing now. It's only been like 2 years since I've been there last. They're losing stores and it just looks kind of shitty. 2 of 4 arcades closed as well.
I'm thinking of living in Plymouth or Minnetonka, but I really have no clue about where's the best place to live.

|I feel dumb.
I don't think I've ever had to make a decision that mattered in my life. Realizing I have to makes me feel weird.
I should probably have a job lined up by now, but I don't. Oh well. I'll probably fix that next month.
I should probably have a girlfriend by now, but I don't. I don't understand how the world and other people work.
I think differently than others, it's screwing me over and I'm missing out on things.
I am totally out of my mind right now and I don't know why. I'm not drunk or anything.
I swear. Maybe there is is something in soy milk that doesn't agree with my brain.

|People are Wii-tarded.
I got a Nintendo Wii today. I originally just went to Target when they opened, because I didn't think it was such a big deal. They open at 8:00 am. I got there at 8:01 am and they were sold out. I went to Sears. They said they had the Wii available but only 2 units and they opened at 11:00 am. No one was in line, so I went to Hyvee for breakfast then got in line. I got my Wii as a package deal, with 1 Wii, 1 Wii-mote, and 1 Zelda game, and besides the 2 packages, that's all they had. The controller for the Wii is made of two parts, the main part A wireless wii-mote and accessory part that must plug into the wii-mote called a nunchaku. I had an extra wii-mote now, so I needed a nunchaku to complete the controller. Every store in Des Moines is sold out of them. They have plenty of Wii-motes left, but no nunchaku. The stores got the same number of nunchaku as wii-motes, and the nunchaku is useless without a wii-mote. So why? Why are people buying useless crap?
P.S. the shirt I bought at Sears yesterday fits pretty well. I just need to get pregnant/fat (same thing) now to fill out the rest of it.
Put these together and I hate America, or love/hate Sears.
I just want a shirt that fits and a nunchaku to every wii-mote.
